Scroll to the very bottom.LAST UPDATE: 04.2026
This agreement applies to the closed captioning service provider (“Captioner”) and the purchasing individual or entity (“Client”). By commissioning services, the Client agrees to the following:

1. SERVICES

  • Captioner provides closed captioning services for YouTube videos, including timing, formatting, speaker identification, and sound effect notation as agreed prior to project start.

  • All project specifications* must be confirmed before work begins
*As reflected in my work examples, I may incorporate light stylistic formatting or brief contextual commentary for tone or comedic effect. If the Client prefers a strictly professional, neutral caption file with no added commentary, this must be specified before the project begins.

2. PAYMENTS

  • An invoice will be issued upon completion and hand-off of the video's files.

  • Payment is due within 10 calendar days of the invoice date. Late payments may result in refusal of future services until resolved.

  • Accepted payment methods: PayPal, Venmo, and Wise. Clients are responsible for any associated processing or currency conversion fees.

3. DELIVERY

  • Caption files will be delivered via Google Drive after project completion.

  • Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up files. Captioner is not responsible for file loss due to client-side issues and does not guarantee indefinite storage.

4. USAGE RIGHTS

  • Upon full payment, Client receives usage rights for the agreed project.

  • Caption files may not be used for AI training, datasets, machine learning systems, or similar technologies.

5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
